Before you is an incense burner that brings together the raw power of Nature and a contemporary, minimalist design — ready to become part of your rituals. You can place charcoal inside and sprinkle herbs or resin on top, or use it for incense bundles or incense cones.

It is crafted from travertine — a stone shaped over millennia by hot springs and limestone caves. Each burner is a one-of-a-kind piece that carries its own story of time, earth and water.

Over time and with use, your burner will take on the traces of essential oils and smoke. This is entirely natural and part of an organic process that will give your burner a character all its own, making it even more unique.

Instructions for Use:

(Instructions are written for use with resin or a blend of herbs.)

• For better heat insulation, you can pour sand into the burner and place the whole thing on a fireproof surface,
• Using a match, lighter or a candle, light the charcoal and wait for it to begin crackling,
• Place the charcoal in the burner with the hollow facing upward (this is where you'll add the incense later),
• Wait for the charcoal to fully ignite (you'll see a thin line spreading across the entire piece — once it has crossed the whole piece, the charcoal is fully lit),
• Sprinkle a few pieces of resin or incense into the hollow on top of the charcoal,
• You can walk through your space with the burner (be mindful of the heat) or simply enjoy the aromas and their cleansing effect.
• If needed, you can clean the burner with a soft, damp cloth. We advise against using cleaning products, as these could damage the surface of the stone.
