Gua Sha is a special technique rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. Originally, the technique involved scraping the skin from the body — particularly the back — to stimulate better circulation and support the body's natural recovery, while also drawing out toxins. Modern culture has since adopted and adapted this practice into something far gentler and more skin-friendly.

Today we use the Gua Sha technique primarily on the face. With the help of a crystal, we deeply massage the facial tissue, encourage better circulation, and improve lymphatic drainage.

Instructions for Use:

1. Clean your Gua Sha stone under warm water with washing-up liquid (NOTE: the stone becomes very slippery when wet, so please handle it with care),
   
2. After cleaning, hold the Gua Sha under cold water for a moment to enhance the cooling effect,
   
3. Apply a nourishing facial oil to a cleansed face,
   
4. Using gentle pressure and the movements outlined below, massage the face.
   

Notes:

• Movements should always go from the "centre" of the face outward,
• Hold the Gua Sha stone against the face at an angle of approximately 45 degrees.
