Often, the wide selection of crystals can make it challenging for many to enter this wonderful world of magical stones. That's why we've prepared a guide to help you find the crystal that's meant for you.

1. Practice Self-reflection

Let your journey begin with a few moments for yourself. Take a piece of paper and write down answers to these questions: How am I feeling right now? What am I lacking? What are my biggest challenges? Where do I need help?

Let your answers to these questions be the lighthouse that guides you on the path to choosing the right crystal.

2. Browse the Store

Keep the list you wrote in the previous step in front of you throughout the crystal selection process. Choose a store that you know offers a wide selection of high-quality crystals and browse through it.

It's also important to buy your crystal from a store with good energy, as your future crystal will spend some time in that environment.

If it's a physical store, try to hold the stone in your hands. In case of an online store, take a virtual walk through the crystal selection and observe the crystals carefully. Don't worry about the descriptions yet.

3. Feel the Crystal

Observe the crystals intuitively. Focus on their shapes, colors, and the feelings you experience while observing each specific crystal. Try to feel the crystal in your hand and focus on that sensation.

Each crystal has its metaphysical properties, which should serve as a guide but not a rule. At this point, it's better to trust your intuitive feelings.

4. Follow Your Intuition

The golden rule of choosing crystals: You don't choose the crystal, the crystal chooses you. So allow yourself to flow in your selection process.

Intuition is a miraculous power that's difficult to explain. Trust yourself and listen to the voice of the crystals. The one that calls to you is meant for you, even if you can't quite describe that feeling at the moment. This is the magic of crystals.

5. Energetic Cleansing of Crystals

When you receive your crystal at home, cleanse it energetically and prepare it for use. For energetic cleansing of crystals, we recommend white sage — slowly light a white sage bundle over a candle, then "wrap" your crystal in the smoke that the bundle emits.

Harder and non-porous crystals can also be energetically cleansed under running water. Crystals that are not suitable for this type of cleansing include: Selenite, Hematite, Azurite, Chrysocolla, Desert Rose...

6. Charging in Moonlight

After energetically cleansing the crystals, it's good to charge them. The best and safest way to charge crystals is in moonlight.

Take your crystal outside in the evening and place it on a secure surface. Leave it outside overnight to let the magical moonlight charge it and prepare it for use.

7. Charging with Intentions

In the morning, bring your crystal inside and charge it with intentions. Place the crystal in your palm and hold it tight, then ask yourself: What do you want from the crystal? What are the challenges you want the crystal to help you with?

With intentions, you "program" your crystal to serve exactly this purpose and provide you with all the support you need.
